The beauty of Jhansi.

“Jhansi” the city known for its historical importance but I know it by its beauty. It is a very beautiful, clean and peaceful city situated in Uttar Pradesh (Lots of people have misconception that it is situated in Madhya Pradesh). In my childhood when I was reading stories of “Jhansi Ki Rani”, I was thinking that I would go there at least once in my life. No one knew at that time that I will spend four precious years of my life.

On the day of my registration in B Tech, when I reached Jhansi‘s station I was surprised. I never saw such a peaceful railway station. I headed towards the college. It was a rainy season and there were lots of greeneries in the way and I enjoyed those beautiful scenes. When I reached college, I was feeling like I came to a Gurukul (situated in a jungle) to get Diksha.

In those four years we had lots of sweet memories. Though there are few sad moments also, but those are negligible in compare to the sweet moments we had spent there. In first semester, I was spending most of the day time outside the college campus. Thanks to the ragging system that had given me chance to explore the beauty of Jhansi.

I will start from the “Sadar Market” where we go to purchase daily usages goods, books etc. We were going there to relax our mind after being tired by boring classes, but I think our eyes are more relaxed than our mind after seeing the real beauty of Jhansi in the streets of Sadar market.

Let’s go to “Elite”, the favorite place of students who were fond of movies. Those guys who have girlfriend, they could have spent some peaceful hours on the corner seat in Nandini cinema. After the cinema a delicious dinner in Janak’s restaurant.

Now we will go to my favorite place in Jhansi city (There are lots of favorite places outside the city). I am talking about the great Jhansi fort. When I visited the “Rani ka kila”, I had fulfilled my childhood dream. I saw the place from where rani ji jumped with her horse. There are so many places which reminds us the sacrifice of great warriors of our country.

There are lots of beautiful places around Jhansi like Orchha, Datiya, Matatila, Parichha etc. I can never forget about the Matatila trip. That trip has lots of fun and adventure.

At last I would like to describe about most beautiful place near Jhansi. Yes, I am talking about Orchha. The clean and cold water of Orchha River always attracts our soul and mind. The great Ram raja temple and in front of that the beautiful Orchha fort. I always remember the evening aarti in Ram raja temple. There are many more places, if I am going to describe about each and every place, a full book can be written on this topic. I would never miss the chance to visit this beautiful place again.

The Great Honda River

Have you ever heard about the great Honda River? I think very few of you who have faced challenges to cross this river. I am also one of them. This is a unique river that mainly exists in rainy days. In other days you cannot even think the existence of this river. This is the only river which in the center of a high-tech city. Now you guys will be thinking that where this great river is situated?

This great river is situated in the millennium city Gurgaon. Have you ever gone to Honda chowk in rainy season? If you have gone then you were really enjoyed the scenic view of this river. Some people (like me) were suffering a lot who were going there daily to earn their bread and butter. I was going there by three-wheelers (the most popular and only public conveyance in Gurgaon) and the three-wheeler stand was at one shore of the river and my destination was at another shore. Now challenge begins… to cross the river. But thank god to rikshawalas waiting for passengers along with their rikshas (In this context “boats”). Those days the earnings of these rikshawalas had been increased multiple times in compare to other days. They helped us to cross the river and we were reaching our company safely. Once I thought that it is very costly to cross the river, so I decided to come by my own bike. When I was crossing the river then suddenly a car moving (in fact crossing the river) in front of me applied break which triggered me also to apply a sudden break. I had to put my feet in the water… oh shit… my jeans was soaked in water till my knees. Then whole day I was thinking that it was better to come from the three-wheeler.

There are lots more interesting stories around this Honda River that can’t be told in a single sitting. But now if someone tells me that our job is not challenging then I use to tell him one of these stories. Since I changed my job and relocated from Gurgaon, I have only the memories of it. I can never forget about this river. Interesting and unforgettable moments.

Happy mother's day to all my blog viewers         

आज मेरे मन में एक ख़याल आया कि क्यों न कुछ लिखा जाय| मैंने सोचा अपना ख़ुद का ब्लॉग बनता हूँ| इससे अच्छा जरिया भला क्या हो सकता है| शुक्रिया इस सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी का, जिसकी वजह से आज हमें यह मंच मिला.

लिखने कि तो सोच लिया पर पहला लेख किस बिषय पर लिखा जाय यह एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्न था| मैंने सोचा आज मदर डे है तो माँ के बारे में ही कुछ लिखा जाय| इससे पाक़ और महत्वपूर्ण विषय शुरुआत करने के लिए कोई और नहीं हो सकता है|

“माँ” एक ऐसा शब्द जिसके बारे में जितना लिखा जाय उतना कम है| माँ की ममता का व्याख्यान करने में युगों निकल जायेंगे| माँ का प्यार हमेशा निश्वार्थ और निष्पक्ष होता है| वो पहले अपने बच्चों के लिए जीती है, फिर अपने लिए जीती है| ख़ुद को खाने को निवाला न हो परन्तु बच्चों को भूखा नहीं सोने देती है| माँ का प्यार सिर्फ इंसानों तक सिमित नहीं है, बल्कि इस संसार के सभी जीवों में आपको माँ की ममता देखने को मिल जायेगी| मै तो कहता हूँ इस संसार में ही क्यों पूरे ब्रम्हांड में माँ का एक ही रूप है| शायद इसीलिए हमने माँ को भगवान् का दर्जा दिया है|

माँ की इस ममता से कोई भी अनजान नहीं होगा| परन्तु आजकल लोग माँ के प्यार को अनदेखा करने लगे हैं| जिस माँ के बगैर बचपन में एक पल नहीं रह पाते थे उसकी उपस्थिति उनकी आँखों में खटकती है| जो माँ ख़ुद भूखी रहके बच्चे के लिए भोजन का प्रबंध करती थी आज वो बेटा उन्हें एक वक़्त की रोटी नहीं दे सकता, और इसके बावजूद हम कहते हैं की हम तरक्की कर रहे हैं| अजी ऐसी तरक्की का क्या फायदा जो अपनी माँ को एक वक़्त की रोटी न दे सके. माँ के दिए हुए प्यार का एक छोटा सा हिस्सा भी हम उसे वापस कर सकें तो हम कितने भाग्यशाली होंगे| जरा सोचिये उन बच्चों का जिनके पास माँ नहीं है| जरा सोचिये उन बच्चों का जिन्होंने माँ शब्द सिर्फ सुना ही है कभी बोला नहीं| फिर महसूस होगा की हम कितने भाग्यशाली हैं|

आज हमें माँ को याद करने के लिए एक ख़ास दिन की जरुरत पड़ रही है| अगर ये है तो मै चाहूँगा दिन रोज ही आये| त्याग, बलिदान और ममता की इस मूरत को मेरा कोटि कोटि नमन| किसी ने ख़ूब कहा है की:

सख्त राहों में भी आसान सफ़र लगता है,
ये मुझे माँ की दुआओं का असर लगता है|
एक मुददत से मेरी माँ नहीं सोई,
जब मैंने एक बार कहा "माँ मुझे डर लगता है "||
